Liability Waiver

Green Auto Lab — Mobile Detailing Services
Effective Date: March 2026

This Liability Waiver applies to all mobile detailing services provided by Green Auto Lab. By booking an appointment or receiving service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below. These conditions protect both parties and ensure clarity regarding the risks and limitations associated with automotive detailing.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

Automotive detailing involves the use of water, cleaning agents, tools, and equipment. While Green Auto Lab follows a controlled, methodical workflow, you understand that:

  • Some surfaces, materials, or components may react unpredictably to cleaning products or processes.

  • Older, worn, or damaged areas may worsen during normal cleaning.

  • Certain stains, odors, scratches, and defects may not be fully removable.

  • Aftermarket parts, wraps, tints, and accessories may have unknown sensitivities.

You acknowledge these inherent risks and accept that results vary based on the vehicle’s age, condition, and prior care.

2. Pre‑Existing Damage

Green Auto Lab is not responsible for any pre‑existing damage, including but not limited to:

  • Clear coat failure, oxidation, or peeling

  • Scratches, dents, chips, or rust

  • Interior tears, stains, or worn materials

  • Loose, brittle, or malfunctioning components

  • Electrical issues, sensors, or mechanical defects

  • Aftermarket parts, wraps, or accessories installed by third parties

You agree to disclose any known issues before service begins.

3. Work Area and Vehicle Access

You are responsible for providing a safe, legal, and accessible work area. This includes:

  • A stable parking location

  • Adequate space around the vehicle

  • No hazards, obstructions, or unsafe conditions

  • Pets and children kept away from the work zone

  • Access to the vehicle (keys provided if necessary)

If the work area is unsafe or unsuitable, Green Auto Lab may refuse or stop service.

4. Water and Electricity Requirements

Our workflow requires customer‑provided water and electricity. You agree to provide:

  • A functional outdoor water spigot

  • A functional household electrical outlet

  • Safe access to both

Green Auto Lab is not responsible for damage to plumbing, electrical systems, or property resulting from faulty or improperly maintained utilities.

5. Personal Items and Valuables

You agree to remove all valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before service. Green Auto Lab is not responsible for:

  • Lost or missing items

  • Items left inside compartments, seats, or storage areas

  • Damage to personal items left in the vehicle

6. Sensitive Materials and Aftermarket Modifications

You acknowledge that certain materials or modifications may be sensitive to cleaning processes, including:

  • Aftermarket wraps, tints, or coatings

  • Non‑OEM interior materials

  • Custom electronics or wiring

  • Painted or dipped surfaces

  • Ceramic coatings applied by third parties

Green Auto Lab is not liable for damage to aftermarket or non‑standard components.

7. Weather, Environment, and Uncontrollable Conditions

Mobile detailing is affected by environmental factors such as heat, wind, dust, and humidity. You understand that:

  • Weather may impact results

  • Services may need to be rescheduled for safety

  • Outdoor environments may introduce dust or debris during or after service

Green Auto Lab is not responsible for environmental contamination occurring after service completion.

8. Mechanical or Electrical Issues

Detailing may reveal or worsen existing mechanical or electrical issues, especially in older or poorly maintained vehicles. You agree that Green Auto Lab is not responsible for:

  • Sensor malfunctions

  • Electrical failures

  • Water intrusion caused by worn seals or damaged components

  • Mechanical issues unrelated to the detailing process

9. Photos and Documentation

Green Auto Lab may take before‑and‑after photos for documentation and quality control. Photos may be used for marketing unless you request otherwise. Identifying details such as license plates can be blurred upon request.

10. Release of Liability

By receiving service, you release Green Auto Lab from liability for:

  • Damage resulting from pre‑existing conditions

  • Damage caused by aftermarket parts or modifications

  • Damage caused by faulty utilities or unsafe work environments

  • Damage resulting from undisclosed issues

  • Minor cosmetic imperfections that cannot be corrected through standard detailing

  • Environmental factors outside our control

You agree that Green Auto Lab’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the cost of the service performed.

11. Agreement

By booking or receiving service from Green Auto Lab, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Liability Waiver. This waiver is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
